Because let’s face it, this is not an anniversary. Your budget is still recovering from Christmas and so you need to be frugal. I understand I am all about saving money and here are some ways you can save money this valentine’s day.
Stay Home Date.
I know this might sound cliché but hear me out. When I survey ways to save money on valentine’s day many people came up with this idea. And since they are happy in their relationships. I say we take a few pages out of their book.
Don’t hesitate to plan out your stay home date. Go all out. Plan out your menu and get the ingredient. Planning and shopping for ingredients are not date nights ideas but they are spending time alone ideas. Once you have your ingredients and everything ready light some candles and voila a cute valentine’s day date.
Remember to put in your favorite radio stations. For some of that smooth music to set the mood.
Picnic On The Beach
This one is one of my favorites. It could be because I love the beach. Being that I am based in sunny South Florida I highly recommend this. One thing that you can do to make this even more fun is to have the picnic at night. I mean that’s when all the fun is had anyways.
Take all that you would like for your picnic you know the food, blanket, and don’t forget the drinks. Then find your favorite spot on the beach. I recommended that you go to the beach that the locals hang out at. These beaches are less crowded and more fun to be in. Just don’t forget to make sure you are safe.
Pamper SPA Day
Who doesn’t like a spa day? A day where you are pampered, relaxed and treated like the important person you are. Everyone is looking for a way to have a spa day for free. That is why this money saving idea will leave your skin feeling soft and your body relax. It is also a fun way to show your significant other how much you appreciate them.
Look up at-home spa day on google and you will see a plethora of ideas of what you can use. You can make a spa day with just things in your kitchen. With a simple google search, you will find ideas for days. One of my favorite recipes is a mud mask. You can find the recipe here.
This one is one of my favorites. A theme night is pretty much a date night with a theme. For example, I love superhero movies. I am a big nerd and I would plan a night where we would dress up as our favorite hero. Here’s the secret, we don’t have to like the same superhero. The idea of the night is to watch our favorite superheroes movies together.
This Valentine’s date night is super casual and does put any pressure on you. Just grab a pizza, or a bucket of chicken and watch superheroes save the day. Don’t forget to compare which hero is better.
Last but not least, who doesn’t like a good game night? Not the kind of game night where you invite your friends over, but the small intimate kind. Here’s what you do. Choose games that can be played by two people. You know, those old fashion games such as UNO, Monopoly, Jenga, and so on. Put those games on the table and go nuts.
Of course, I saved the best for last. Have you ever wanted to turn on the radio and have a dance party? Well, how romantic would it be to have a private dance party with the one you love. That is why dancing the night away would be the best way to spend valentine’s day. Don’t forget the water for hydration dancing is pretty tiring.
