When I first started blogging, I read everything that I could about it. I worked hard at it and I even landed me a guess blogging spot at an amazing blog. Check it out here.
But the more I worked at blogging the more lost I felt. I still had no idea what I was doing and who my audience was. Plus, my blog was all about embracing myself and I still couldn’t pinpoint how to portray that.
Then I started using Instagram. Instagram was the best thing that ever happened to me. I started using Instagram and grew my following to 300 in 2 months even though
And I kept getting comments like. I love your dresses. You wear such pretty dresses. Where do you get your dresses from?
And that’s when it hit me. My feed was full of my modest yet realistic down to earth fashion.
With that realization I ran to my computer and started looking at my favorite bloggers. It was reaffirmed. They were writing about things they love. Who they are.
My heart jumped with excitement and I finally felt like I found myself (not that I ever went anywhere.) But I finally found out what I wanted to do. I had direction and I jumped at the opportunity to do it.
If you are struggling with finding your niche. I say hit up Instagram and look at what you are posting. Chances are you are posting what you love and that my friend is where you should start. Then you can move forward from there. I mean the answer is right under your fingertips. I know you have heard it all as a new blogger.
The song is always finding your niche. Well, I’m here to say that it is not always easy to find. But look at where you are and check out your Instagram and see what you are posting. Your Instagram might already contain your blogging niche. But never forget to pick something you love. I know I did.
While you are searching welcome to Embracing Nelle where I express modesty in moderation. what does that even mean?
Well, that’s easy. I’m just a Christian girl trying to live my life and dress right. Not too much not too little but just right. Thank you for coming on this journey with me. As usual, don’t forget to share this with your friends. Come enjoy interacting with me on Instagram, pin with me on Pinterest, and chat with me on Facebook. I’m human and I want to hear from you.
