Happy travel Friday. I think it’s my first travel Friday of the year. So Yay. And this first look is all about being comfortable. That’s why it’s called Airport Fashionista: The Comfortable Oversized Sweater Look.
Flying is so draining but we still do it because of the thrill of going on an adventure. And one thing we all have in common is that we all want to be comfortable while flying.
The question most of us ask is: how can I be comfortable and stylish at the same time?
Let me stop you right there. You know what I always say. Style is an opportunity for self-expression. That means if you are expressing yourself with your style. You are doing it right.
The story behind the Sweater: Ross dress for less?
So I was walking through Ross because I had to do what was called buying a gift for someone for Christmas. And God knows I did not want to spend my hard earn money. Nonetheless, I was still at Ross doing what I was told to do.
While rummaging through the stationary section my mind wandered away. To regain my passion for what I was doing I hurried along to the youth clothing section.
As if the light was shining directly from heaven. I look at the rack and there was the sweater. And I knew right then and there that it was meant to be. But what I did not know was that it was ordained by God himself.
Because when I reach down and look at the sweater and it was on sale for $4.99.
Of course, your girl is not crazy. I immediately grabbed it and tucked in under my arms. Rushing back to the stationary section to take whatever my eyes behold. Sorry person who I had to buy a gift for.
Now that you know the back story. let me give you a rundown of how I styled this awesome sweater. First and foremost it is still cold outside. The spring is coming but for now, winter wants to hold on a little bit longer.
Which is good because it is definitely the sweater season. So wearing a sweater on the plane to your adventure will not look out of place.
For me, I paired the sweater with a pair of workout tights. Because I was going for that athletic but yet comfortable look. The goal was to make sure that I felt no stress and did not want to be stressed.
I threw on my favorite pair of madden girl sneakers, grabbed a backpack and hit the door. Comfort is the name of the game and it is what I am partaking on. I hope you like it and that it inspired you to be an airport fashionista.
