6 Beautiful Islands You Can Still Travel To During This Pandemic

Number one on my list of 6 Beautiful Islands You Can Still Travel To During This Pandemic is Haïti. It is my home country and a must-visit. The country shares an island with the Dominican Republic and is often overlooked as an amazing destination for those who are looking for sun, clear beaches, food, and fun.

Because it is often overlooked as an amazing tropical destination. I would call it a not so hidden Gem in the Caribbean. offering great food and amazing history. And it is the home of the 8th wonder of the world. So don’t hesitate to check it out.

Of course, you need to check to see if there is a travel restriction or requirement to get in. According to visit Haiti.com, the country requires that all international travels declare their COVID-19 on a form distributed during incoming flights.

Be prepared to have your temperature check, providing the exact address you are going to be at and maybe a 14-day quarantine if you are not able to provide that negative test result.

I mean who wouldn’t want to go to an island that has almost 300 miles of coastline and maybe about the same number of beaches. With the largest shopping center in the Caribbean, it is worth it to get lost in Puerto Rico for the weekend.

But before you go, remember we are in a pandemic so there are rules that must be followed. You must wear a face mask and apply by the social distancing rules.

If you aren’t able to provide the negative test result there is a quarantine period of 14 days or you will be quarantined until you get a result while on the island.

So do yourself the favor and get tested before you travel.

If none of those Caribbean islands didn’t catch your eye. Then I suggest St Lucia.

know for its vast variety of bird-life, it’s luxurious mountains and beautiful clear waters. St Lucia is a must-visit in your search for the perfect Caribbean paradise.
