6 Beautiful Caribbean Islands You Can Still Travel To During This Pandemic
Number one on my list of 6 Beautiful Islands You Can Still Travel To During This Pandemic is Haïti. It is my home country and a must-visit. This small country shares an island with the Dominican Republic. And it is an amazing destination for those who are looking for sun, clear beaches, food, and fun.
For a small Island, Haiti offers a lot of fun. This gorgeous island is home to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. So when you go there you will have an opportunity to enjoy the tropical paradise that you have been looking for. Labadee is one of the best beaches in Haiti. A private Island own by Royal Caribbean known for its amazing natural beauty.
If beaches aren’t your thing, then head over to Citadelle Laferriere. One of the largest if not the largest fortress in the Western Hemisphere built to protect freed slaves after the Haitian Revolution of 1804. It is a sight for sore eyes and a lot of fun to visit.
While Haiti offers amazing beaches, awesome culture, and history, it also offers good food. One of my favorite places Lakay. One of the best restaurants in Cap-Haitian offering good ole comfort food and an excellent taste of Haiti.
In conclusion, Haiti is often overlooked but one of the best tropical destinations you can visit. I would call it a not-so-hidden Gem in the Caribbean. offering great food and amazing history. And it is the home of the 8th wonder of the world. So don’t hesitate to check it out.
Of course, you need to check to see if there is a travel restriction or requirement to get in. According to visit Haiti.com, the country requires that all international travels declare their COVID-19 on a form distributed during incoming flights.
They will check your temperature and you have to provide the exact address you are going to stay, and maybe a 14-day quarantine if you are not able to provide that negative test result.
And before you ask traveling to Haiti is safe and fun if you know how to do it. I recommend you keep your visit to Cap-Haiti if you want o avoid some dangers.

Now a favorite of mine that I am looking forward to traveling to. It could be for the simple fact that my best friend is from there.
None the less the country is open and ready to go.
I mean who wouldn’t want to go to an island that has almost 300 miles of coastline and maybe about the same number of beaches. With the largest shopping center in the Caribbean, it is worth it to get lost in Puerto Rico for the weekend.
But before you go, remember we are in a pandemic so there are rules that must be followed. You must wear a face mask and apply by the social distancing rules.
You are also required to fill out a declaration form through the Puerto Rico Health Department portal. Don’t forget like all places you need a 72-hour negative COVID test before you travel or quarantine.

The US Virgin Islands are a series of islands that tourists love to visit. Because of its white sandy beaches, beautiful reefs, and of course the only place in the US where you get to drive on the left side of the road.

If none of those Caribbean islands didn’t catch your eye. Then I suggest St Lucia.
know for its vast variety of bird-life, it’s luxurious mountains and beautiful clear waters. St Lucia is a must-visit in your search for the perfect Caribbean paradise.
However, during this pandemic, some rules must be followed. For starters, you do need a negative test result 7 days before the day of departure.
